So no woman is left scared and alone in a hospital bed wondering what just happened to her, we developed the Butterfly Brigade - our signature program. BB is a group of trained women who deliver our Butterfly Bags filled with helpful information and goodies to make hospital stays more bearable. More importantly, the women delivering the bags arrive with a sympathetic ear and experience as a survivor of birth trauma. Vetted and in practice at the prestigious University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, this program can be adapted for any hospital and for any maternal health illness requiring mom or baby to stay in hospital more than 48-72 hours. Nurses & doctors are particularly encouraged to inquire about starting a chapter in your hospital or location!
